  • Creates, manages and coaches design for projects or program (internal or external) overseeing project delivery through relevant professional design expertise, applied skill, localized market knowledge and Starbucks supported systems and tools.

  • Creates as a role model, coaches others (internal or external), and manages design project to ensure high quality brand-accretive store design consistent with standards and strategic direction.

  • Manages gaps and solves business and design challenges by strategizing and proactively identifying, gathering and leveraging available tools and resources.

  • Manages the interior design network (7+ direct reports).

  • Manages the pipeline and the staffing of the interior design team.

  • Direct link between the design department and other cross functional disciplines, such as construction, account management, and sales.

  • Develops tools for data collection and helps build processes / design standards to accelerate the project timeline and approvals from the client.

  • Supports the development of our design process across Made's portfolio of offerings.

  • Leads client design projects from start to finish, owning all phases of the design process from customer intake and design development, through space planning and architecture.

  • Ensures all technical details are considered through the creation of architectural plans and 3D renders.
